Mini We Day is a powerful, life-changing event that communicates extraordinary stories of inspiration, courage and change. It brings together established change-makers with passionate young people to kick-start another year of impact and empowers the leaders of tomorrow.

Mini We Day is a youth empowerment event independently run by our new UNSW student society, We Act, and aims to motivate and inspire youths to take action on local and global issues. It is based on ‘We Day’, an international event hosted by Canadian not-for-profit organisation, Free The Children. Mini We Day will be a free event for all students from any New South Wales university, where established change-makers will communicate their stories of inspiration, courage and change to students with the aim to empower and catalyse them to become leaders of social change. You will have the opportunity to ask questions after each speaker’s story and there will also be a networking component towards the end of Mini We Day, where you can network with our partner organisations, which will include our speakers but also other organisations that advocate for social change.

Mini We Day is currently set for early August 2016, so JOIN THE MOVEMENT to receive updates!
